What is the very best ski resort in Northern California for beginners and youngsters?
Issue by rarobibyrd: What is the best ski resort in Northern California for novices and youngsters?
I would like to learn how to ski but I am not sure which resort would be the best for me. I also have a young youngster (5 years) so I would want to keep someplace where there are a lot of points for children to do. I also am intrigued in resorts that supply kid care for dad and mom to take pleasure in the evenings on your own. Do any of them have clubs or bars?

Shasta is a great tranquil little resort. Excellent for beginners but not a total support spot. there is no lodging at the resort and the city dies down fast at night time.
If you are hunting for easy 1 stop, everything in a single location and cash is no object Squaw Valley - Tahoe has it all - For a price. The village is large for Tahoe and has dining establishments and clubs galore. It can be a little yuppie and the prices are crazy - but it has it all. I am not a massive fan of the mountain believed.
Northstar at Tahoe is a mini Squaw and for beginners is the finest loved ones place for the buck. They are expanding the village and have a more a lot more reasonable terrain for novices than Squaw. The lodging are pricey but it is also full service - Ok night time lifestyle too.
