Where can I find a ski patrol jacket?
Question by : Where can I find a ski patrol jacket?
I just passed my OEC course and I am about to finish our local protocol check list. I already know what I am going to get for a pack, but what can I do for a jacket? The one's in the NSP catalog do not look the best to me, are there any other places where I could find Patrol Jackets/Vest (besides "Mountain Outwear") Please and thank you.

Patagonia, Mountain Uniforms, Cascade Toboggan (vests), skiareasupplies.com, Hard Corps (don’t know if they are still making them.) The North Face used to make them, but I haven’t seen a red/black one from TNF in a while.
I have the Mountain Uniforms one…not that good. Not breathable at all. When it’s warm I just wear a red and black windbloc fleece from LL Bean. I sewed a badge patch on the front and crossed on the sleeves. My backpack has a cross on it too, so I didn’t bother sewing on on the back of the jacket. I also have a fleece vest with crosses. Nothing fancy, just something to wear around the patrol room or during spring.
