@sod57
For skiing, you want to build a solid base during the off season (summer and fall) so that when skiing season comes you’re already fit and ready to go you can focus more on your technique
Total TURD
@sod57 My team does it all off season. Except the more plyo type stuff.
Superb!
When is this training recomended? Spring, summer or fall.
very nice pushups!
excellent !
@akselhope first lets create a proper race that takes about 40 hours to win, rather than all the sprint crap. Then let’s see everyone’s worth. Though you Scandinavians will probably still dominate since you can actually ski for 40 hours rather than most countries that need to make their snow.
Norweigans definitly nr1 in skiing bu Sweden sure as hell are nr2 I dont really think people outside scandinavia get skiing the guys in this video are breathing out of tubes, thats not what skiing is about were i come from!
@goldenj22 kiss my green ass shit face!
really cool machine, but i guess it’s not cheap
I’m sorry – I cannot understand your point about Norwigian skiers. Are you from Norway?
@GudonuS It doesn’t work exactly like that.. The bigger community (i’m talking about the boundaries of a country community, in this case) that does something, the greater the competition, which leads to better participants. Also bigger number of people that does something = more top level specimen occurs. And by “world class skiers from every generation”, I mean exactly that. Ofc every country can have a good skier that debuts, and then skis at top level for a number of years. It’s a difference
@snehesten
Every country, in every generation, in every Olympic games, even each year provide a world class skiers. I was just talking that there’re many good skiers.
@GudonuS Cross country skiing is more popular in Norway [than in Sweden and Russia], so they can deliver world class skiers from almost every generation
@Biffbradford Nature, gym studio’s and cross-country-skiing high above sea level.
@akselhope bit of a stretch to say winter sports…how did you guys do in hockey? Howbout alpine skiing?
@akselhope, Don’t say
Russia, Sweden always show that Norwegians are not the best! Here you go: watch?v=M6ry4kkta3A
@akselhope Its true I’m Norwegian and i had never touched a pair of cross country skis before. Then last week i tried on my own and It felt natural, haha but i probably actually suck at it.
You should of said Africans, not black people. Not all black people live in Africa idiot.
I believe black people are not great at this, its because, africa its a continent with almost non snow places, plus also being a third world place, makes most of the popullation really poor, the facilities to get skiing gear are very bad. Running its a sport anybody can do, you dont need any gear you can even do it barefooted so, this is why black people are great at track and fiel, there its no doubt black people have great fisionomies for any sport.black people could be great in any sport
I have never done this b4 but would love to try it out, is it hard to do? And what muscles does it burn the most?
Too much science is too much!
@akselhope
I kneel to the nords of cross country skiing. They can’t be beat.
@tina2709 …upon which specific training plans will be worked out, so all part of the process.
I’m not racist or anything, but I’d love to see a black guy win in Cross Country. I find the Winter Olympics a little too “whitewashed”…if you know what I mean.
i want to train like german team, yeaaahhh !!!

my friend sindre stokke is a sick ass skier from norway
well, I’m a norwegian, and I don’t have skiing in my blood, let me tell ya:) however, xc skiing is without doubt my favourite sport, and I know that to be the best, you have to train best… best of luck to the u.s. team though, the more athletes from different nations, the better!
wrong title
it’s not a training process, it’s fitness testing (VO2 max)
