I don’t go shirtless, but for the ones that do, it’s more the snow-burn from wiping out that’s the concern.
Man you musta got sun burned from takin off your shirt lol
You just have to do it to understand the freedom and connection you feel.
Thats lovely
xcgeek great job. I’m from Poland and I love cross country skiing but here we haven’t such beautiful places for this sport.
Filmik jest dla mnie natchnieniem do uprawiania tego sportu. ( Very good film.)

This video is bittersweet for me. It’s awesome to see the XC skiing in such a beautiful setting but it reminds me of my failure to reach that area last week. I was supposed to ski in via Bryant Creek but had to turn back before the pass due to questionable avy conditions.
I’ll be back!
wow queer whos xc skis
what is so exciting about cross country skiing? that’s an excellent question. i think it’s the feeling of free movement. every bit of momentum comes from the spirit, and every bit of spirit you give out you get back.
keep moving.

To understand the attraction to skiing, you have to try it and feel it. Skiing is a very rhythmical and addictive. The sensation of traveling so fast over snow with efficient movement is a unique experience.
i dont see whats so exciting about X country skiing. But i guess since so many people do it, it must be fun, would love to try it someday.
Made me remind, why I love cross country skiing so much.
Finally, the Jurassic Park theme used APPROPRIATELY!! Very inspiring.
I really would like to go to Assiniboine some day. Just beautiful
Hi xcgeek – no, I usually do not collect autographs – I did not watch jurassic park – but Gladiator could be – it sounded familiar somehow. I was thinking a little bit about the theme from the 1992 “last of the mohicans”. But it is rather gladiator.
The movie inspired me for my winter vacations. I should do a little bit more cross country skiing.
The downhill part with cross country equipment is artistic!
Thanks a lot
Björn
Hey loewekater
The opening song is from Jurassic park, and there are also two soundtracks from Gladiator in there too.
P.S. By the way, you wouldn’t be the Björn from Germany who sends us cards to autograph, would you. That would be funny if you were the same person.
Hi xcgeek – very entertaining – although it mainly shows parts of a training camp at cross country skiing. Therefore I do not think the music is too melodramatic. I think I know the classic theme at the beginning and the end – what is it?
Hey metube222, yes it’s spring, when I say first camp of the year, I do mean spring as our training season begins in May. Glad you liked it. Thanks for commenting.
Thank you xcgeek for posting this. Obviously, it is Spring time skiing on a hard crust at Mt. Assiniboine, not fall time, as mentioned in the clip. The music was a bit too melodramatic for me; but, enjoyed Dan’s comments. Ski on dudes and dudettes!
