Question by : Where can I find a ski patrol jacket?
I just passed my OEC course and I am about to finish our local protocol check list. I already know what I am going to get for a pack, but what can I do for a jacket? The one's in the NSP catalog do not look the best to me, are there any other places where I could find Patrol Jackets/Vest (besides "Mountain Outwear") Please and thank you.

I am looking to purchase a new ski jacket. I have looked at many different websites to compare. Most seem to have the same description - "great ski jacket, waterproof and breathable!" - I want to hear personal reviews. Which warm, waterproof jacket would you suggest for skiing? Preferably around $ 200, but I am willing to look at all price ranges. THANK YOU!

Answer by EastCoastRider get something with at least 10 K breathability/waterproofing if you want something guarenteed waterproof and breathable get a gore tex jacket... you will always stay dry and will stay a lot warmer
